Following on from my post yesterday, Toshiba has now officially confirmed it is discontinuing the HD-DVD format.
They will however continue to supply support to those 1 million people with HD-DVD players.
This will probably mean the studios who currently support the format will probably, also discontinue releasing films in HD-DVD.
